The Magic of Christmas Cookie Decorating Party!

There is no more magical time of the year, than the Christmas season!  Santa’s little helpers were invited to join their friend, Ellie, for a cookie decorating party on this crisp December morning!

Peppermint candies dotted the walkway for the children's arrival leading to Ellie's Christmas kitchen!

Red and white striped table cloths trimmed in green and white polka dot fabric provided the setting for hours of creative fun.

The chairs were dressed in white cotton chair covers with red cotton sashes tied into bows.  Each chair was decorated with red berries mixed into fresh Christmas greenery and fastened with either a red or green plastic piece of Christmas “candy.” Check out the adorable elf shoe table leg covers!

Each child's place included a personalized placemat to use for the party and take home as a keepsake.

The centerpieces were inspired by Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree, and adorned with vintage cookie cutter tree ornaments featuring a picture of each child!

As guests arrived, they were directed to the craft tables to glue “snow” (aka cotton balls) onto their snowman pictures.

The little elves donned personalized chef hats, which are suggested for anyone making cookies at the North Pole!

The tables were filled with supplies for cookie making and decorating!  The children learned to work with homemade cookie dough, rolling it out, and cutting the dough into shapes for baking.

Colorful icings and an assortment of sprinkles allowed each child to express their creativity in decorating the cookies on the red and white candy cane plates.

The refreshment table was decked out in complimentary holiday fashion with the red and white candy cane striping and green and white polka dot accents.   A picture of Santa and Mrs. Claus along with some elves hung over the table!

Santa’s little helpers feasted on Frosty Fruit, Mistletoe Muffins, and Christmas Cookies while watching the movie Polar Express.  Cute muffin toppers provided a fun accent!

Beverages included Wonderland Water with adorable labels from the North Pole and Polar Express Punch in a Santa Claus decorated dispenser.

Mrs. Claus made a surprise visit to check on the progress in the workshop and listen intently to all the children’s Christmas wishes.

Special cookie tins were provided for each child to carry home their prized cookies!   Ellie thanked her friends with matching favor tags attached with polka dot ribbon.

Among other treats of the day, fun sunglasses were added to favor bags!   Ellie wore a personalized shirt in honor of Mrs. Claus.

Cute recipe cards for the cookie dough were tied to cookie cutters as favors!

A magic key was given to the children for Santa to come on Christmas Eve.

A candy cane with the reminder of the reason for Christmas was given to the children too!

And last, but not least, the adorable favor bags provided an example of how a simple brown paper bag can turn into a work of art with the names and faces of the children having been decorated with cotton balls for Santa’s beard and fur on his red hat!

What a magical day in Santa’s workshop!   The children were thrilled to see their fabulous cookies creations and Santa was no doubt proud of all his little helpers!
