Ahoy there Matey! It’s time to set sail for Captain Cole’s third birthday celebration! Pirate Treasure awaits!
Family and friends were invited to join Captain Cole for this special voyage setting sail from Storyland in City Park! The invitation was designed with a likeness of the birthday boy standing triumphantly aboard his pirate ship!
All arriving pirates were outfitted for the party with a pirate hat, eye patch, sword, and a treasure map!
The treasure map, designed especially for this pirate adventure, created a magical treasure hunt throughout the park! “X” marked the spot for hidden treasure!
Children followed Captain Cole's maps through New Orleans City Park Storyland. Even the big kids had fun!
Captain Cole found a nice spot in the shade along the way!
Inflatable balls in keeping with the party theme were only some of the many prizes to pick from along the way.
More fun was waiting for guests at the Jolly Roger Tattoo Parlor where airbrushed tattoos were designed!
Personalized party coloring pages were an additional activity for Captain Cole’s fellow pirates!
Gold coins were scattered along the red and white striped table cloths. Pirate cookies were plentiful for the hungry crew!
Skull and crossbones emblazoned on ship sails served as party centerpieces and were mounted in red buckets with black crinkle paper. The number “3” flag was flying high!
Colorful cupcake toppers of various pirate images, ship sails, and birthday wishes for Cole added to the festive decorations.
Delicious Fruit (Parrot Feed) was served with miniature swords and with party flag decorated tooth picks! Tent style food labels complimented the party decorations and theme!
A “Happy Birthday Cole” banner was the backdrop for the loot table!
“Shiver me timbers! Grab ye loot, me hearty!” was an invitation to partake of the many goodies!
At the end of the day, red and black bags were filled with pirate loot! Among the treasures were the Catch of the Day (Swedish fish), Rock candy, and Jewel ring pops! Cannon Balls (red gum balls), Loot Stickers, Golden Treasure (Rolos), and Treasure Maps added to the amazing party table!
The Skull suckers were a favorite!
Big kids helped the little ones to load their loot bags!
Arrgh! Party Favor bags with fold over style labels contained more pirate booty (chips).
Thank you favor tags on the loot bags were an opportunity for Captain Cole to thank all the pirates who came out to help him with this fabulous adventure.
