Eye of newt and whisker of cat, Leg of spider, and wing of bat! The witches’ brew is almost done, It’s Halloween, let’s have some fun! Kids were excited from the start with this invitation from Katherine and Caroline.
Orange and black decorative mesh, ribbons, and twinkling lights gave a warm welcome to costumed party goers. Skeletons, pumpkins, and ghosts were intertwined in the door decorations and a “Halloween” banner completed the entrance!
Spiders and bats were ominous signs in the dining room, as were a number of mummies and werewolves that had taken up residence. Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins gave an eerie smile!
Adults and kids alike would find a whimsical element to this otherwise frightful party! Bright party colors of orange, purple, yellow, hot pink, and lime green found their way into designs of polka dots and stripes! The party spilled over into the yard where ghosts danced in the trees over the “Happy Halloween” Sign.
A “Happy Halloween” bunting banner strung on black ribbon waved gently in the breeze!
The dessert table treats included Creepy Cupcakes, which featured party themed cupcake toppers such as, bats, “Boo,” spiders, and “Happy Halloween.”
Vampire Bite Donuts were both cute and scary at the same time! Tent style party food labels with adorable names were throughout the food table.
Marshmallow ghosts were mounted on sticks as if to rise from their resting place! The same cupcake topper images were used with a scallop punch.
Miniature chocolates were wrapped in colorful party papers! There were witch hats, jack-o-lanterns, cauldrons, black cats, ravens, candy corn, bats, spiders, and ghost images to choose from!
Popcorn snacks was served in adorable polka dot cups!
Hot dogs, chips, fresh fruit, and raw vegetables were just some of the party fare. Table centerpieces featuring a fun pair of witch shoes were mounted in orange buckets, and tied with orange polka dot ribbons.
Wicked Water was available for the thirsty ghosts, goblins, and witches in attendance. Orange, purple, yellow, hot pink, and lime green ribbon designs popped against the black and white chevron background. The spiders, bats, and witch’s hats added to the festive water bottles!
Activities for the kids included not only Trick or Treating, but making crafts. A Craft Table was set up with all the items needed to express Halloween creativity!
A karaoke machine brought out the musicians and made it a super fun dance party. There was something for everyone with even a bounce house in the yard! Orange and green baskets contained special treats, including “Happy Halloween” Pretzel Rods and “Take a Monster Home” candy boxes.
There were no tricks at this party. “Boo” party bags contained even more sweets and treats!
From witches flying on their brooms to ghosts rising from their tombs, this was a fabulous party for all!
