Ellie’s Lemonade Stand officially opened for business on Lemonade Day 2014. Ellie’s strategy in raising money for a charitable cause was to expand her sales to include not only Lemonade, but delicious baked goods as well! The Lemonade Stand was quite eye-catching with yellow and white wooden slats and overhead signage “Ellie’s Lemonade.” Brightly colored flower leis added interest!
This young entrepreneur was fashionably dressed in a lemon designed skirt and adorable t-shirt featuring a little girl’s lemonade stand as her logo! Ellie and her assistants all wore name tags designed especially for them!
Raspberry pink polka dots and yellow stripes were the design elements that framed adorable vintage lemonade stand images. Yellow chevron cups featured Lemonade decorated stickers! As an added bonus for her customers, Ellie provided yellow straws with “Yummy” straw flags!
Any profitable business owner knows that location and advertising are keys to success! Banners and balloons helped to attract customers.
Lemonade pricing signs printed in bold designs and a colorful pennant style banner completed the stand decorations.
Pink lemonade was offered in addition to the traditional lemonade! An alternative beverage option included bottled water with specially designed labels!
Presentation is very important in marketing products, and the bakery table was as adorable as every other aspect of this business venture!
The bake shop offerings included some fabulous desserts: Chocolate chip cookies, Triple Lemon baby (cup) cakes, and Chocolate Chip cookie dough brownies.
Ellie’s product line included variety and was quite appealing to her target audience! Her pricing was competitive!
We’re not at liberty to divulge the secret lemonade recipe, but we’re pretty sure Ellie got a great lesson in how to start, own, and operate her own business!
